Hello, Iam currently setting up a new online store for our shop and was wondering if anyone could help me with finding a good invenotry and good claim system. The Inventory system should Ideally be able to assign locations to Goods (e.g Article A is stored in shelf 1A) and then be able to compile a packing list for ideal gathering of goods. The Claim system, should allow Customers to set up claims, which are then resolved internally. Each claim should Ideally have its own claim ID and a way to set up claim orders (e.g customer found an Issue with Article A and wants it to be replaced, we confirm claim, select compensation method(return, new shipment, Cashback) and then an Order/Credit note is set up, stating that either a sum or item or etc. is being compensated to the customer.) We also receive claims from our Retailers, we are The prime manufacturers and distributors but also make alot of sales over our Retailers, who might make claims, or their customers might make claims (who don't have an order in our store) So it would be optimal if customers can also upload pictures/receipts etc. Store INFO: low 7 digit turn over around 100-200 items Customer base of around 20000 Wholesale and retail

I'm beyond frustrated with Shopify's shipping system right now. I've got one product that weighs 1.5 pounds and another that weighs around 5 ounces. However, if I default one over the other, the shipping charged to the customer drastically changes. I can only default one package type? How can I customize which package type goes with which product to accurately put up shipping costs for the customer? Also, I'm seeing some people recommend apps, are there any apps that will fix this problem and for free?

I’m honestly wondering if I should start with advertising first, but before anything, I really need help figuring out how to set up some sort of website. It’s been a living hell trying to figure it out because my brain still lives in the early 2000s so technology is not at all my forte. I have a MacBook laptop I could use and I’ve heard of things like square space and more but it’s just impossible for me!! Suggestions or just help for somewhat easy ways to set up a site or just how to navigate everything??

The Cobra Effect, also called Perverse Incentives, describes unintended negative consequences when an excessive reward or incentive is offered to solve a problem. It was named after an incident that followed when the British colonial government created a bounty for cobra skins to reduce the Cobra infestation in the city. The reasoning was by offering rewards for dead cobras, the public would solve the snake overpopulation problem. However, instead of capturing feral cobras and killing them, people started farming cobras for their skins. Today, in marketing, the cobra effect shows up when we try to scale faster, seeing the ROI on a smaller scale. And the common attribution method(last clicks attribution) used today for digital marketing aids this effect. Many a time when we try to scale the digital marketing campaign much faster or much larger than we should be we see this effect clearly. Too many clicks get generated out of nowhere like the cobras in the above story. It happens to a small extent on platforms like Facebook and Google. However, happens at an astronomical pace with affiliates and Ad/networks. However there we can latest see that the impression is increasing even though we cant very it. So be careful when you are scaling up.

So I’m using Zapier to record transactions from Shopify into Wave and I’m unsure of how to track the merchant processing fees. I’m using Shopify Payments. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been brainstorming and collecting iOS app ideas for a very long time. I'm pretty much confident in my programming skills, I can build virtually anything I want. I've been stacking hundreds of ideas, but in the end I had to ditch them all. So I'm having a hard time convincing myself that I just need to pick something and start working on it. I've researched appStore categories, got through hundreds of app ideas on the internet and nothing ever clicks with me. All possible ideas are pretty much the same vague uninspiring stuff like you would gather using ChatGPT: 1. A social networking app that connects people with similar interests or hobbies. 2. A productivity app that helps people manage their tasks and schedule. 3. A fitness or health app that provides workout routines and nutrition guidance. 4. A travel app that helps people plan and book trips, with features like destination recommendations, travel itineraries, and flight/hotel booking. 5. A game app that is both fun and educational, such as a puzzle or trivia game. 6. A personal finance app that helps people track their expenses and budget. 7. A language learning app that provides interactive lessons and exercises. 8. A recipe and meal planning app that helps people plan and prepare healthy meals. 9. A meditation and mindfulness app that provides guided meditation sessions and mindfulness exercises. 10. An e-commerce app that allows people to shop for and purchase products from their favorite brands and stores. I equally don't care about anything from that list. I don't feel like making another language learning app, notepad, fitness app, or finance app, or any kind of social networking app, or pretty much anything else. This is mind-numbingly boring to me and I have no idea how to even start caring about any single shell of idea more than the other with my uninspired mindset. To anyone with the same experience - how did you overcome this? Please, share your advice.

Hi!! So I started an online clothing boutique curbtwoseventhree.com about 5 years ago. I had my first credit card at the time and maxed it out at $2,500. I have just let that debt sit there since then and it’s killing me, I also have the feeling that I should be working really hard to grow this business at all times so it is hard for me to fully commit to a job that actually pays me. So I end up just working really hard on the clothing boutique for a couple months at a time. I also don’t know if what I have done so far is even good or it’s silly. I kind of want to just close everything and try to sell the product in bulk somewhere and focus on my esthetician career fully. Every time I decide to close it I start thinking of everything I did to open it and how excited I was doing it so it’s hard to let go. Like picking the name and registering the business was such a big accomplishment to me. And getting a license to purchase wholesale. And finding brands to purchase from and talking with them over email and the phone. I’m 24 though and still live with my mom so I think it’s time to focus on realistic goals I just can’t let it go. Any advice on my situation would be appreciated. And if someone could check the website and it’s instagram too for input on it that would be amazing too. Thank you

Just started an agency with my friend, I’m taking 30% and he’s going to get 40% because most of the fund will come from him. The rest will be shared among other people with skills, connections and experience required to start the company. My friend is in another continent and will be managing the accounts. Now my question is, how do I make sure that I get the right share, Invoices could work but they can be manipulated (edited). How do I go about this, very new to the business world and I’d really appreciate some advice
